Lahore trade body to hold Pak show in Amritsar

AMRITSAR (May 3rd) SNS :-  Following success of “India Show” in Pakistan, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry would be organizing exposition “Pakistan Show” in Amritsar from May 8 to May 12, informed Pakistan high commission press attache Manzoor Memon on Friday. Manzoor said that “Pakistan Show”, to be inaugurated by Pakistan high commissioner Abdul Basit, would be held at Trilium Mall, adding that more than 100 Pakistani exhibitors would showcase their products.

During the “Pakistan show”, LCCI would present a cultural programme every day in which famous Pakistani singers would perform. “The PhD chamber is also arranging business meetings of exhibitors,” Manzoor said.

Sources said that Pak folk singer Arif Lohar and Malooka were among others who would present their shows. Meanwhile sources said that the Indian deputy high commissioner in Islamabad was summoned to foreign office on Friday and a protest was lodged over denial of visas to 500 devotees.
